Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Lathe Operator for a reputable manufacturing client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, where innovation and safety are top priorities. The role involves operating lathe and roll rotating equipment while ensuring high-quality results. Additionally, the position requires some travel overseas for training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trim and skim rolls to pre-grind specifications.
• Remove old covers (rubber, composite, ceramic, PU, etc.).
• Complete necessary documentation for factory orders and roll receiving.
• Operate new equipment and upgrades as required.
• Cut locking grooves and install fusor or other end treatments when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area.
• Perform general maintenance, painting, and housekeeping tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and perform tasks independently or with supervision.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating lathe equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be willing to travel overseas for training.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
