Mold Maker

Our client is seeking a skilled Mold Maker to maintain, repair, and upgrade injection mold tooling. This role supports production by ensuring tools are functioning properly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize maintenance and repair of molds to minimize downtime

• Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and spotting presses

• Manufacture and fit mold components and perform on-site repairs

• Work with engineering and QA teams for tooling assessments

• Prepare molds for shipment and transport to local repair shops when needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assist with troubleshooting and process improvements

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a related field

• 5+ years in injection mold tooling repair and maintenance

• Proficiency with manual tool room equipment and TIG welding

• Understanding of ISO9001:2015 & IATF 16949 standards

• Strong safety, environmental, and quality awareness
